Challange

Our client faced the need to reduce the time it took to process selected data and make it available to authorized employees.

Solution

The company decided to entrust this task to us by employing a dedicated Business Intelligence specialist who, in cooperation with the company’s in-house team, implemented Microsoft’s BI Stack system. Thanks to the implementation of automated SSIS packages and a monitoring scheme, as well as the use of incremental data transfer, we were able to achieve our goal. We created software fully tailored to the individual needs of the company, allowing it to increase the effectiveness of implementing their business strategy and improve the process of making changes.

Impact

The BI tool that was implemented allowed the client to structure their information and discover new business opportunities more effectively, while guaranteeing a number of benefits, such as:

  • reduction of the time it takes to transfer data (from six hours to just a few minutes),
  • improved decision-making and implementation of selected business processes,
  • providing cost-effective, flexible support and development services for BI systems.

Summary

The completed project was very important, not only in terms of computerizing the client’s business but, above all, in terms of making it more competitive. As a result, today the company is much more capable of identifying potential future challenges and can therefore prevent them rather than merely facing them.
